here are two of the 4 bento's i made. the other 2 i gave as gifts to my sister and niece.

{ceramic bento boxes}

These guys are my new obsession, hand built ceramic bento boxes. The pictures are from when I began making them. I made a total of three, all three have been bisqued and yesterday I glazed them and now they are in line to get fired. The bento's should be out a week or so! I'll post pictures so check back!

{ceramic pendant no.001}

I started making these pendants/ornaments and realized that I'm in the wrong profession. While carving out different designs I always think to myself, "I should have been an Archaeologist." It's like I'm delicately picking, scraping and brushing the dirt off of ancient fossils.

{cardboard cat house no.2}

I've been on this kick of designing and building cat houses out of cardboard. Here is my latest cat house no.2. I originally designed this house for two outdoor feral cats that live in our back alley that we call Mommie and One sock. I was surprised that Maddy was able to crawl inside and do a 360 since she's about 10 pounds overweight to fit in this one.

If you want to take a shot at building this house I'll sell you the plans for $20. I will even draw the plans and elevations in CAD. Cardboard and glue not included. lol.

{the cove - documentary 2009}

If anyone knows me well, knows that I love watching documentaries. I just finished watching "The Cove" which is a film about thousands upon thousands of captured, sold and slaughtered dolphins off a small east coast village of Japan. I have to admit that I'm constantly moved by the films I watch but as I watched this film I could not believe what I was seeing.

Please check it out and please help inform people about what is going on in Taijii, Japan.
